As part of efforts to speedily complete the construction of Adebare Road / Ligali/ Celestial/ Boys Scout around Ogudu Bridge Interchange in Kosofe Local Government Area, the Lagos State Government has announced the partial closure of Adebare road for a period of four (4) days beginning from Wednesday, 11th to Saturday, 14th May, 2016 between 10.00am to 4.00pm daily.
A release by the State Ministry of Transportation stated that as part of traffic management strategies during the closure, motorists and other road users are advised to use Boy’s Scout Way as an existing alternative route for traffic diversion to access the Third Mainland Bridge.
The released stressed that Boy’s Scout Way will be temporarily used as a dual carriage way for the period.
Similarly, it disclosed that contractors working on the pedestrian bridge, Laybys and slip road at Ojodu Berger along Lagos – Ibadan Expressway will on Sunday 15th May, 2016 launch the Ibadan Bound Structural Beams between 5.00am and 12.00 noon.
While regretting any inconvenience, the State Government solicited for caution and cooperation from all road users, imploring them to obey all traffic regulations as all relevant agencies have been directed to ensure free flow of traffic on the aforementioned roads.
