VIDEO: Rashford Steals The Show On Lukaku’s Debut As United Begin Pre-season

Manchester United started its preseason tour in fine form Saturday night and cruised to a 5-2 win over the Los Angeles Galaxy at StubHub Center in Carson, California.

Marcus Rashford shined for the Red Devils with a brace in the game’s first 20 minutes before Marouane Fellaini, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Anthony Martial all found the back of the net.

The Galaxy were largely listless in the attacking third, but Giovani dos Santos bagged a pair of goals in the game’s final 11 minutes to get L.A. on the board.

The star of the show was the 19-year-old Rashford, who looked like a legitimate cornerstone at striker after he scored five times in 16 Premier League appearances last season.

Debut man Romelu Lukaku was upstaged by two-goal team-mate Marcus Rashford in the 7 goal thriller.

The £75 million front man came on at the break for his first appearance as a United player with Jose Mourinho deciding to play with two separate XIs in the two halves. By the time the former Chelsea and Everton star stepped foot on the pitch, Rashford’s finishing had already put them out of reach.
