This comes as the State Ministry of Transport plans to demolish the shanties today towards renovating the jetty at the waterfronts.
The traders say they want government to first relocate them to another place before embarking on the demolition of structures at the Bile, Nembe and Bonny Waterfronts.
Some of the traders at the Bille, Bonny and Nembe waterfronts who spoke to correspondent FEMI OGUNKILEDE welcomed the plan to renovate the jetty but said they will suffer untold hardship should the government demolish their properties there without first relocating them.
