The state Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, SP Dolapo Badmos, confirmed the incident, saying the police would fish out the perpetrators of the .
According to her, “Operatives of the division are going to unravel the cause of death and the perpetrators of the dastardly act. His age and surname are yet to be known and we are looking for his family members.
“But we have recovered the body and deposited it in a public morgue for autopsy. The case is under discreet investigation.”
It was gathered that Tunde was purportedly strangled before he was hung with a rope to give the impression that he committed suicide; as there were marks of violence on his body, which made the police believe that it was a case and not suicide as people were made to believe.
